Production Process

Continuous hot-dip galvanizing of strip steel is a common process for galvanizing products, that is, the steel coils are connected, and after necessary pre-treatment and annealing, the strip steel is directly galvanized through a zinc pot having molten zinc liquid.

  • (1)Unwinding

    Unwinding the steel coil to provide the steel strip required for continuous operation, generally using two unwinders.

  • (2)Welding

    Welding the leading end of the strip and the strip of the trailing strip to ensure continuous production of the unit.

  • (3)Inlet looper

    Store a certain amount of steel strip, ensure the normal operation of the furnace section when the unit is shut down for welding. Commonly, there are two forms, horizontal and vertical.

  • (4)Cleaning

    Cleaning the strip surface to remove rolling oil and iron powder to obtain good coating adhesion and surface quality, generally including spraying, brushing, electrolytic cleaning, brushing, spraying, squeezing and hot air drying. And other equipment.

  • (5)Annealing

    Recrystallization annealing of the rolled strip is carried out to obtain good mechanical properties of the product.   • (10)Water quenching and cooling

  • (11)Leveling

  • (13)Post-treatment

    Passivation or other chemical surface treatment of the strip to obtain the corrosion, lubrication or other requirements that the user desires. Spray squeezing or roller coating drying is generally used.

  • (14)Export looper

    Store the strip at the exit shear stop to ensure the normal operation of the unit’s process section. After the coiling, the high-speed operation is adopted, and the looper is evacuated.

  • (15)Trimming

    Trimming the strip as needed to achieve proper width accuracy.

  • (16)Quality inspection

    Surface quality inspection of strip steel.

  • (17)Oiling

    Oiling the strip steel to obtain certain rust and lubrication properties.

    Coiling the strip to obtain a coiled strip.
